教學目標內涵

本課程目標在提升學生獨立思考，瞭解參與國際社會變遷和社會現象，培養個人多元文化能力及知識，訓練學生成為一個參與國際社會的世界公民。
This course conceptualizes an international community as a complex social system consisting of multi cultures and social settings.
Efforts will be made to explore and understand current international society and global issues. The course helps students to enhance their ability and knowledge of cultural diversity and learn to become a global citizen in the changing international community.

課程概述

本課程為基礎通識課程。課程內容分為兩大面向。第一面向，從全球化角度出版，介紹全球化的概念，探討全球化現象為現代全球社會帶來的衝擊和影響，包括多元文化等相關社會議題。第二面向，介紹全球化發展下，幫助學生瞭解參與國際合作的方法，熟悉跨國服務的管道和服務準備，認識日趨蓬勃的跨國服務機構，及各種國際服務內容。
This is a basic social science course. Course contents are divided into two major sessions. The first session examines the impacts of globalization on current international society. It will discuss and analyze the issues related to developing trend of globalization.
The second session introduces the concept and method of international cooperation. It helps students familiar with the delivery system and contents of international service and the growing number of multi cultural agencies and all related resources.
